Make it! Okanagan Christmas Craft and Sustainable Living Faire

Make It! Okanagan Christmas Craft and Sustainable Living Faire is the exciting renewal of the popular event "Santa Presents." In its 18th consecutive year, the show will feature local handmade craft and unique arts, baked goods and Christmas treats, and sustainable living products. With over 100 vendors from the all over Okanagan and interior, this is the region’s largest Christmas craft show! Join your friends and family for the day to shop, enjoy and participate.

 

Admission is $4, with kids under 10 being free. In addition, there are doors prizes and parking is free.

The show is open Saturday, November 1 and Sunday, November 2 from 10AM to 5PM.

Rancho Vignola: Penticton Harvest Event

Join Rancho Vignola for the second Annual Penticton Harvest Event at the Penticton Trade and Convention Centre. The direct-to-the-consumer event includes a fresh crop of dried fruit and nuts, for you to purchase! Their motto is "try before you buy!"

The two-day Penticton Harvest Event is your chance to purchase unique Christmas gifts and stock your pantries and freezers. Also,  choose from a large selection of ingredients for Christmas baking and organic and fair trade products. Products are available in 2lb, 5lb, and full case sizes, with some products available in 1lb sizes. Click here to view their product list.

Friday, November 8 | 9:00 AM to 7:00 PM
Saturday, November 9 | 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM

Admission and parking are free! Plus at this year's event, there will be live demos (featuring simple recipes that are easy to make) and a prize giveaway!

Remembrance Day

Remembrance Day ceremonies will be held at the Penticton Trade and Convention Centre. Doors open at 10:00 AM, and those in attendance are asked to be seated by 10:15 AM. The service will promptly begin at 10:30 AM.

Prior to the ceremonies, veterans will march from the Penticton Curling Club to the Penticton Trade and Convention Centre. Following the service, veterans will return to the Penticton Curling Club.

The ceremonies are organized by the Royal Canadian Legion's Penticton Branch 40.
