Dream Music Festival

May 12 to May 13

The Dream Cafe Co-op, A&A Propane and Penticton Western News proudly present the 2017 Dream Music Festival. The 2017 line-up is an all-star list of Juno and Maple Blues award winners and nominees who will fill your evening with the best in Canadian blues, tinged with cowboy swing.

The Festival is held on Friday, May 12 and Saturday, May 12, 2017 at 7PM. We'll be dressed up as a remote version of the Dream Cafe.

This year’s line-up features last year’s Festival favourite the incredible Shakura S’Aida (with pianist Lance Anderson), the smooth and passionate Russell de Carle (from Prairie Oyster), Canada’s legendary blues man and Maple Blues award winner Big Dave McLean, multiple Maple Blues nominee Angel Forrest (with her two fabulous guitar players Denis Coulombe and Ricky Paquette) PLUS the return of Master of Ceremonies, and our favourite pilgrim, Jim Byrnes. Once again, the Festival format features the “Dream Festival Band”, an ever changing troupe of performers backing the featured performers and each other’s performance. This collection of artists features dynamic front man Steve Dawson (who will contribute an individual performance) PLUS the best of back-up artists Chris Norquist (drums), Jerry Cook (sax) and Bernie Addington (bass).
