Urban Search & Rescue Training 2023

September 19, 2023 - September 21, 2023 —

Canada Task Force 1 is conducting a full-scale disaster response exercise in Penticton, BC from September 19-21, 2023. This exercise simulates an extreme weather event that results in multiple technical rescues around the city. Task Force 1 will be joined by Task Force 2 (Calgary), Task Force 4 (Manitoba), and the Canadian Armed Forces for an integrated response. In all, 122 members will be onsite responding to simulated scenarios around the city that supported by ground and air resources.
